Nikica Jelavic returned from injury last night to play in Croatia's 3-1 defeat to Sweden. The ex Rangers man has only featured once for the blues in our 1-1 draw with Wigan after sustaining a training injury in the following days. Hopefully, he'll be back for the game on Saturday against QPR.
Also, if you didnt watch it, both Leighton Baines and Johnny Heitinga featured in the England v Holland game at Wembley Stadium. The two Everton defenders put a good shift in and Baines got an assist for Gary Cahill's goal. The game ended 3-2 to Holland. Once the match had finished, Johnny Heitinga tweeted that he enjoyed playing at Wembley and hopes he'll be back there with Everton. What a legend!
